March :

Whitburn Surgery raised over £300  to support the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal. They wore yellow themed fancy dress outfits on each Friday during March.

April :

Parish Church - New church warden elected. Lorraine Hood succeeds Christine Alder. Lorraine will be sworn in on May 6th 2009

Last Friday of each month - Rector Ken Smith  holds services in Lindsay Court and Croftside House.

Whitburn Brownies celebrate 50 years in the village on Wednesday April 29th.
Guides and friends welcome to reminisce in Parish Church Hall from 6 - 8pm.

Whitburn Village Primary School are celebrating the schools 50th birthday summer of 2009.

Whitburn and Marsden Club, on the Front Street hold a 50/50 dance each Wednesday from 8pm to 10.30pm.
